Our study days are a great way to increase your knowledge about a topic of interest to you. The in-depth days are led by experienced lecturers who are professionals in their field.

Full-day programmes normally last from 10.15-3.00 and are held in the Market Lavington Community Hall.

An extra fee is charged to attend a study day. This currently ranges from £38 to £40 per day to include coffee and a light lunch with a glass of wine.

Previous programmes included six days on The Lands of Alexander the Great and six on Art, Faith and Empire in the Iberian Peninsula. Shorter study days focussed on the art of Scandinavia, the Bayeux Tapestry and the Longitude Problem.

Our 2026/7 programme features:

• a six day study course on The Romans.

• one day on King Arthur and the Arthurian legend

• two days on Vienna 1900. Art and Culture on the Cusp of Crisis
